The best way to describe Hamptons design is simplicity combined with grandeur, featuring the same clean lines as several of the other styles currently in vogue (e.g. modern and contemporary), but with elegant design features to create a feeling of luxury. The Hamptons style originates from a string of seaside communities of the same name on the East side of Long Island, which many wealthy New Yorkers holiday to. As such, this style is inspired by the ocean combined with the opulence of the houses in these communities. This is achieved through a specific colour pallet (white, light grey, creams, pastels, duck egg blue and navy blue), timber, plush furnishings and elements of ornate architecture usually in the form of cornices, cabinetry and mantels.
The below heaters are the perfect balance between simple and grand, which is why they are the ideal choice for Hamptons styled spaces. The most popular of these is the Regency PG36 (we can even supply the mantel seen in the photo).
